During the interview when asked about his role model, Kim Jung Hoon mentioned "Lee Byung Hun, he is such a talented person." Onto what he would like try apart from being a celebrity, he answered, "Since I like learning as well as teaching, I would like to take a shot at becoming a professor."
On marriage plans and dating, he commented, "I don't think it's time yet since I haven't matured." He added, "When I was in my early 20s, I did date someone who was ten years older than me, as well as being in a relationship with a foreigner."
About his 1st generation idol duo UN, Kim Jung Hoon shared that because he and fellow member Choi Jung Won are both busy with their respective solo careers, a reunion probably wasn't in their plans. He explained about rumors that went around after the duo's disbandment, "There had been a lot of talk going on about how we disbanded because of our conflicting schedules. However, that was not the reason. It was merely due to our contracts expiring."
