On January 13 (KST), Brave Entertainment officially announced that Brave Girls will be promoting as a group of 5 without Hyeran and Yoojin. The official announcement is as follows:
"Hello. Brave Entertainment is making an official announcement regarding Brave Girls's Yoojin and Hyeran.
First of all, we apologize for delivering unfortunate news to the fans who've been waiting for a long time. We're officially announcing that Yoojin and Hyeran who've been members of Brave Girls for the past 5 years, will be ending Brave Girls promotions as of today the 13th.
After a long time of concern between her promotions and her education, Yoojin decided to focus on academics and is preparing to study abroad, and we are going to respect her decision.
As for Hyeran, her health suddenly worsened, making it impossible for her to continue promotions. After a long discussion with Hyeran, we decided that her health is first and foremost. Therefore, she'll be taking a temporary break.
We ask that you continue to give your attention and love toward Yoojin and Hyeran, who've worked their hardest for Brave Girls.
Brave Girls will not be adding new members. It will promote as a group of 5 with Minyoung, Eunji, Yuna, Yoojeong, and Hayun starting with their new album scheduled for February-March.
Please support and encourage the Brave Girls members, Yoojin, and Hyeran, who are all standing in front of a new start.
We and the Brave Girls members will do our best for the lovings fans who support and love for Brave Girls. We promise to greet fans with more good music and performances from now on.
Thank you."
