Singer Lee Ji Hoon made a surprise announcement during the January 18 broadcast of 'Radio Star', that he's currently in a relationship! In an interview a day after the show, Lee Ji Hoon opened up more about his girlfriend and their love story. 

When asked if he had intended to reveal his relationship status on 'Radio Star', Lee Ji Hoon answered, "I didn't intend to open it up. I didn't talk about my relationship during the interview [with the producers] before the show. It just came out naturally during the talk. I don't think I'm at the age to be hiding my relationship. I also think it's natural to open it up if I'm thinking about marriage."

He then went on about his non-celebrity girlfriend, saying, "I've known her for about a year and a half now, and it's been about a year since we officially started dating. She teaches students at a school."

As for the reason why he decided that she's the one to marry, Lee Ji Hoon said, "She's very mannerly and proper to her family. Also, when I looked at the amount of love she gives me, I believed she would be able to give a lot of love to her children in the future."

Lee Ji Hoon also said that his aggressive personality changed after dating her, and that he became more relaxed. 

Lastly, he shared the reactions he got from his fans and said, "They're startled because it's the first time that I talked about my girlfriend in public. Before the announcement, they asked me to hurry and marry and show them nieces/nephews, but they changed. I understand the awkwardness they're going through, though. I also know that they won't leave me even if I have a girlfriend." He added, "I'm 39 years-old this year. I want to get married before I turn 40."
