Just ahead of tvN drama 'Goblin's final episode broadcast, actor Gong Yoo, who played the role of 'Goblin' Kim Shin, relayed his thoughts on the drama coming to an end!
He said:
"Today is my last day of filming for 'Goblin', for which I've lived as the 'Goblin' these past 5 months. Because my character this time was a little different from my past characters, because he was not human but a god-like character, I felt burdened inside, and there was also the burden of working with such a well-known scriptwriter, but I think we were able to come this far because you all provided us with so much love, and we gained energy from that. When things pass, there's bound to be regrets, and this drama was one that I chose after a long time and after a lot of thinking, so ultimately, I do have have some regret now that it's coming to an end. Still, I sincerely thank you for all your love, but the fact that it is ending is both relieving and disappointing, but at the same time, I'm very very happy that it is ending today. I feel like I know [how I feel], but I don't.
To the scriptwriter and the director, who worked so hard, on top of their golden teamwork I was able to put my spoon, I am thankful, and I do not think that the Kim Shin of today and the 'Goblin' of today would exist if it weren't for the countless staff members. I sincerely thank all of them, and I also thank all of the honorable sunbae and hoobae actors whom I got to work with, especially because I wasn't able to express my thanks on a regular basis since it is embarassing. How long do I have to do this for? Please be healthy, and I will stand in front of you with good productions again, as a good actor.
Thank you for your love and care all this time. Sincerely, the lonely and great 'Goblin'."
Will you be able to hold back tears during the final episode of 'Goblin', airing in a matter of hours?
