On December 12, Minzy hosted a live show on 'V' with Bohyung from SPICA. During a Q&A segment of the show, Minzy stated, "I am working hard and preparing. I have a desire to bring you guys a multi-faceted 'gift.' There will be various genres in it. Because of my desire to do well, I am making you guys wait for a long time, but I will try my best to make a comeback as soon as possible." 

Bohyung added, "She is working really hard, and I am excited; she'll do well. She's experienced in various genres, so I think Minzy will shine more even as a solo." 

When fans asked Minzy about her 2017 plans, she replied "I cannot believe it. I wish time would stop," looking sad about the year ending. She then added, "I think I will become busier. I will meet you guys often. I will release an album, have a great time with you all, then go on a trip."
