
Actor Son Ho Joon has been cast in the upcoming theatrical production of 'Killing Caesar,' marking a significant milestone in his career.
According to an exclusive report by TenAsia on March 17, Son will take on the role of the titular character, Caesar. The play, inspired by William Shakespeare’s 'Julius Caesar,' will make its debut in South Korea.
Son Ho Joon is best known for his performances in popular dramas such as 'Reply 1994,' 'Confession Couple,' 'The Light in Your Eyes,' 'The First Responders,' and 'My Happy Ending.' He has also starred in films including 'Wish,' 'A Diamond in the Rough,' and 'Stellar,' showcasing his versatility across different genres. Additionally, he has gained popularity through variety shows such as 'Three Meals a Day,' 'Coffee Friends,' 'Love Catcher in Seoul,' and 'Once in a lifetime, Kilimanjaro.'
In 2023, Son impressed audiences with his bold transformation in the play 'Angels in America,' where he portrayed prior Walter with a confident and charismatic performance.
Beyond his acting career, Son has also made a strategic move in the entertainment industry. After parting ways with YG Entertainment in 2021, he joined Think Entertainment, where he worked for three years. His contract with Think Entertainment concluded in June 2024, and he has since been involved in the establishment of a new management agency, 333, becoming its first signed actor.
