The Korean entertainment industry continues to focus on the ongoing controversy surrounding Kim Soo Hyun and the late Kim Sae Ron. 

Recently, the focus has shifted to the pressure the late actress must've felt before her death. 

On March 17, Kim Sae Ron's bereaved family filed a defamation lawsuit against YouTuber Lee Jin Ho and held a press conference revealing more details of the ongoing issue. Kim Sae Ron's family legal representative addressed new details, revealing that Kim Sae Ron had received two certified letters from Gold Medalist.

Attorney Bu Ji Seok refuted Gold Medalist's claims that it had only sent Kim Sae Ron one certified letter regarding the debt owed. However, according to the attorney, Kim Sae Ron had received two letters from Gold Medalist. Attorney Bu explained, "The agency claimed that the first legal notice was merely a formality, but that is not true. While sorting through the deceased’s belongings, we (belatedly) found a second legal notice. This second notice mentioned that it was sent due to a supposed breach of trust, but in reality, it was essentially demanding that the debt be repaid within a set deadline.”

Attorney Bu explained, "Towards the end, it explicitly ordered the deceased not to contact Kim Soo Hyun or anyone at Gold Medalist. It also contained threats of legal action over the release of intimate photos. After this, even other actors from the same agency, who had previously been in contact with the deceased, suddenly cut off communication. It is evident that she suffered significant emotional distress before her passing.”

Kim Sae Ron's family is currently accusing Kim Soo Hyun and his agency, Gold Medalist, of isolating the late actress, pressuring her with threats of legal action.

With the latest revelation, Korean netizens are outraged by the allegations and expressed shock that Gold Medalist had sent two certified letters to the young actress. They commented:
