Many are mourning the sudden passing of singer Wheesung as his funeral was held on March 14.
On this day, KCM, Kim Tae Woo, Lee Hyo Ri, Young Tak, IU, Baby V.O.X’s Lee Hee Jin and Shim Eun Jin, Lee Young Hyun, Yoo Se Yoon, and others visited the funeral hall to pay their final respects to the deceased.
Wheesung was found dead at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the 10th. He was 43 years old. Reports state that a family member, unable to reach him, went to check on him and discovered him collapsed inside his home before calling emergency services.
The bereaved family initially planned to hold a quiet funeral, but they later decided to allow mourners to pay tribute to the late singer. His agency announced, "The funeral hall will be open for visitors to pay their respects starting at 11 AM on the 14th." The family also set up a memorial altar for fans to visit.

Debuting in 2002, Wheesung rose to fame with hits such as "Can't We," "With Me," "Insomnia," and "I Thought of Marriage." Despite taking a hiatus following controversies over habitual drug use, he had expressed firm determination to continue his career. He was scheduled to perform a joint concert with singer KCM in Daegu on March 15.
The funeral service and burial will take place on March 16, and his final resting place will be Gwangneung Memorial Park.
