Girls' Generation's Yuri has once again proven her growth, flawlessly pulling off the thriller genre.
In the psychological thriller film 'Somebody,' Yuri plays the role of Kim Min, captivating audiences with her sharp gaze and delicate emotional acting, leaving a powerful impression.
'Somebody' follows Young Eun (played by Kwak Sun Young), whose life is shattered due to her daughter So Hyun's (portrayed by Ki So Yoo) eerie behavior. Twenty years later, Min, who has lost her memories, encounters Park Hae Young (Lee Seol), leading to a psychological breakdown.

Amid the 20 years within the story, Yuri appears at pivotal moments, enhancing the film’s intensity. With her face partially hidden by bangs, a deeply pulled-down cap, and a constant air of suspicion, she meticulously portrays the character’s anxiety and turmoil.
Her cold, piercing gaze, subtle facial expressions, and intense physical acting amplify the film’s tension, fully immersing the audience in the gripping narrative.
Previously adored for her natural performances in romance and comedy, Yuri has now successfully ventured into the thriller genre. She convincingly portrays a character whose anxiety and distrust escalate in a tense confrontation with Park Hae Young, who suddenly intrudes into her life.

Expanding her acting spectrum, Yuri has been engaging in active discussions with audiences through GV (Guest Visits), receiving an enthusiastic response. She is also scheduled to meet fans during stage greetings on March 15-16, marking the film’s opening weekend.
Meanwhile, 'Somebody,' which showcases Kwon Yuri’s striking transformation, debuted at No.1 at the Korean box office.
Since her debut, Kwon Yuri has been hailed as one of SM Entertainment’s top visuals. Now, she has firmly established herself as not just a beautiful face but also a talented actress.
