Management company ATTRAKT is preparing to appeal the decision made by the Seoul Central District Court over the disputed intellectual property rights of the song "Cupid" by FIFTY FIFTY.

Previously on May 8 KST, the Seoul Central District Court rejected the intellectual property rights claim lawsuit filed by ATTRAKT against the production company, The Givers, thereby acknowledging The Givers as the legally registered owners of all intellectual property related to "Cupid".

Following the court's decision, ATTRAKT stated, "We are currently reviewing current laws on intellectual property rights and preparing to appeal the case."

Originally released in 2023, "Cupid" by FIFTY FIFTY witnessed unprecedented success on Billboard charts that year, peaking at #17 on 'Hot 100' and remaining in the chart for a total of 25 weeks. The Givers, a production company hired by ATTRAKT at the time to produce the song for FIFTY FIFTY, registered all intellectual property rights related to the single with the Korea Music Copyright Association in its own name in March of 2023.
