According to media outlet reports on May 9 KST, FIFTY FIFTY member Keena's current hiatus due to health reasons may have been caused by her appearance at a recent police cross-interrogation.
Earlier this week on May 7 KST, ATTRAKT announced that Keena would be taking a break from her promotions due to health reasons. As a result, FIFTY FIFTY would carry out all activities related to the release of the 3rd mini album 'Day & Night' as 4-members, without Keena.
Now, according to sources on May 9 KST, Keena began to experience symptoms such as mental instability, insomnia, and nausea shortly after appearing at a police cross-interrogation held between her and Ahn Sung Il, CEO of The Givers.
Last year, Keena sued Ahn Sung Il of The Givers for forging her signature on business documents and using said documents for business purposes without her consent. It's believed that Ahn Sung Il forged Keena' signature in documents allotting her credits and copyright royalties as a lyricist of the song "Cupid" by FIFTY FIFTY, signing her name in her place so that Keena would receive as little as 0.5% in all copyright royalties.
Recently, both Keena and Ahn Sung Il were called in for a cross-interrogation by the police. The two individuals attended the interrogation for approximately 2 hours.
Some time after the interrogation, Keena began to display symptoms such as mental instability, insomnia, and nausea, according to ATTRAKT. The management label told one media outlet on May 9 KST, "It's true that Keena's health deteriorated shortly after attending the interrogation where Ahn Sung Il was also called in. After a serious discussion with Keena, it was decided that she would take a break from promotions to focus on her recovery."
