Sechskies, a legendary idol group that recently reunited, announced that they will make a comeback on December 1.
However, fans are not completely happy about it. It is because YG Entertainment stated that the group's album will be called '2016 Re-ALBUM' -- an album that will contain 10 previously released Sechskies songs that will be re-recorded.
YG announced, "It's an album that has been through a process of 're-recording/rearrange/remaster.'"

Another reason why this announcement is upsetting to Sechskies fans is because DSP Entertainment, the agency that trained and debuted Sechskies back in 1998, will receive royalty fees since the old songs still belong to DSP.
Many fans still hold resentment toward DSP for overworking the successful group without giving them proper monetary compensation during their peak, and eventually allowing the group to disband. Because of this history, fans say that they wish YG would write new songs for the group, so the money does not go towards DSP. However, they are also aware of the fact that Sechskies must do well with this comeback in order to be able to release another album next year.
