Viewers are complaining about IU and Kim Yoo Jung's makeup in their new dramas. 

Currently, Kim Yoo Jung is playing the female lead in KBS' 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds', while IU is playing the lead role on SBS' 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo'. Both are historical dramas set in ancient Korean times, and considering the drama's settings, netizens are claiming IU and Kim Yoo Jung's makeup is inappropriate.

Complaints target IU's eyeliner that is supposedly too far winged out and Kim Yoo Jung's eyeshadow that is also supposedly too dark. Many viewers even stated that the actress' heavy makeup is hindering their ability to focus on the drama.
