According to reports by the Gangnam Police Department, Kim Yong Joon went out for a drink on May 8, then got into a fight with other customers. It is stated that customer A (31) got in an argument with another customer B. During their brawl, customer A fell on Kim Yong Joon's lap, which casued Kim Yong Joon's cell phone and wallet to fall on the floor. The singer then fired back, "Why are you guys fighting and bothering other people?"

Customer A responded, "What are you?", which stirred more anger, causing Kim Yong Joon to violently respond with a kick. However, according to KIm Yong Jun's label, "There was no intentions of violence. His actions might have look like it, but it was only an act of defense." 

Currently, the investigation is ongoing, unable to come to a compromise.
