On the most recent airing of 'Radio Star', actor Kim Min Suk talked about having the same name as idol star Kim Min Seok, aka EXO's Xiumin.
Kim Min Suk, who recently arose to stardom following the hit drama 'Descendants of the Sun', said he seriously considered changing his name to prevent confusion between him and the idol star.
Kim Min Suk said, "Xiumin has engaged in acting before too, so when I searched actor Kim Min Suk he appeared. So before 'Descendants of the Sun', my CEO went to a name maker, and the new name they gave me was Kim Hwan Seung."
He then confidently added, "But after 'Descendants of the Sun' I no longer stress about my name."
