On May 26, media outlets reported that actress Kim Se Ah, who recently appeared in MBC drama 'Monster', has been charged with adultery.

Reportedly, Kim Se Ah "maintained inappropriate relations with the vice chairman of an accounting firm, and has been charged after decisive evidence of her role in splitting a marriage. Kim Se Ah first met up with the vice chairman through business, then went on to maintain a relationship. The vice chairman then drew up a service contract with Kim Se Ah, providing her with 5,000,000 KRW (~ 4,000 USD) per month through the firm's finances, as well as transportation, a designated driver, and even a luxury studio."
The report further stated that "The wife of the vice chairman has accused Kim Se Ah of adultery and has filed claims for alimony amounting to 10,000,000 KRW (~ 8,000 USD)."
