Actor Lee Jun Ki has filed a lawsuit against malicious commenters.
On May 31, his agency Namoo Actors announced a suit has been filed against netizens who've been writing malicious remarks about the actor for the past few years. The label explained the comments were previously accepted as interest in Lee Jun Ki, but not any longer, stating, "The netizens in question have gone too far with what they're writing, and the posts have had an effect on other netizens. This is why we've taken legal action."
Namoo Actors further warned netizens of spreading rumors and making slanderous statements about the actor, re-stating that legal action will be taken. Fans of Lee Jun Ki were also revealed to have helped gather evidence. The agency stated, "We've reviewed all the material sent in by fans, and it'll be used for the lawsuit. If fans come across malicious comments in the future, please send proof to leejoongi@namooactors.com."
In other news, Lee Jun Ki is currently filming for the upcoming SBS drama 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo'.
