It has been confirmed that 'Cheese in the Trap' will be aired on a major Japanese broadcast network in August. This occasion is extra special because Japan has stopped airing Korean dramas for a long time.

'Cheese in the Trap' will be first aired on a cable TV network Mnet Japan in April. The original webtoon has already received a spotlight in Japan. The drama is also expected to receive much attention with its unique genre of romance thriller. 

Park Hae Jin's hallyu stardom is also to have impact on the success of the drama. Park Hae Jin has already gained popularity in Japan as he released albums, and also held tours. He even sang an OST for a drama which left its title on Oricon chart. 

The attention on 'Cheese in the Trap', and Park Hae Jin has been outrageous from Japanese media. In fact, about 40 Japanese media outlets are scheduling to come to Korea for an interview with Park Hae Jin. 

Due to such great attention, Park Hae Jin is the only one invited to join 'Cheese in the Trap' promotion in Japan.
