A Hong Kong movie fan club by the name SHK has made a donation of 2,160,000 KRW (approximately $1,755.11 USD) to provide college scholarships at Kim Soo Hyun's alma mater, Chung Ang University. The number came from Kim Soo Hyun's birthday, February 16, and is expected to aid four students in the spring semester. 

The same club also donated 1,988,216 KRW (approximately $1615.52) to a medical association, taking the actor's date of birth and birth year. 

Chinese fan club 'Only Love Kim Soo Hyun' provided eight children sponsorship with a donation of 9,600 CNY (approximately $1473), while 'Kim Soo Hyun Bar' planted 5,760 trees in China since last year. 

Korean fans also donated 2,160,000 KRW to a Korean heart association as well as furniture for a Seoul children's hospital.
