A Konkuk University female student 'B' who claimed that she was raped by a fellow student identified as 'A' exposed the bold-faced text messages she received from her alleged assailant for all the world to see.
'A' had messaged 'B' admitting to his assault but during police investigations, denied everything, causing a heated controversy.
'B' told media outlet Insight on January 14, "'A' admitted to all his crimes through Kakao (messaging app) and said 'Sorry' in a phone call, but denied everything during police investigations. I feel so wronged. Please expose the truth."

'B' further claimed that 'A' lied by telling the authorities that "the sex was consensual." As 'B' and 'A's testimonies clashed, the police are planning on getting to the bottom of the incident through a lie detector test.
'B', who suffered great mental trauma from the ordeal, has inflicted self-harm on her body is currently said to be receiving psychiatric treatment.
'B' also submitted the messages and phone call recordings to Insight in the hopes that the would expose the truth.
'A' told 'B' in his messages to her, "When I woke up after drinking, I was in your room. I don't remember anything. I did wrong. I have no right to face you. If you allow it, I'll beg for forgiveness on my knees. I'm so embarrassed. Can you tell me what I can do to resolve this (without telling the authorities)? If you want, I can even write a banner (to display in public)."
'B' refused to accept any of 'A's attempts to make amends, and confessed that 'A' allegedly told her as he was raping her, "Doesn't it feel good," and "Why don't you get on top." 'B' entreated police, "I hope 'A' gets the punishment he deserves."
Regarding the case, a rep from Chungju Police Station relayed, "As investigation is still ongoing, we can't reveal any details to the public. But it is true that both parties' testimonies didn't match up."
