The 30th Golden Disk Awards was a grand two-day event aired live in both Korea and China. And Korean viewers were pleased to see new girl group TWICE win the rookie award. But although the ceremony was aired live in China at the same time, Chinese viewers didn't find out about TWICE's win until after the broadcast.
That's because on China's online video platform iQiyi, TWICE's entire airtime was replaced with commercials. TWICE's stage performance and acceptance speech for the rookie award was not broadcast.

The topic of TWICE being censored on iQiyi was at the top of Weibo search results. It appears that Tzuyu's nationality controversy is still a sensitive topic in China. What are your thoughts?
