The Evolution Of Big Bang Throughout The Years
1.
Big Bang Throughout The Years
The only group to ever take home the MAMA Award for Artist of the Year more than once, Big Bang just took it home again for the 3rd time. We have watched them grow — witnessing their music mature with them throughout the years.
They have come a long way since their debut in 2006. Their 9 year run may possibly hold some of the most inspirational and successful stories in the history of K-Pop. But what is the key to their success?
We have to all agree that Big Bang is comprised of talented individuals. They are one of the few idols that take control in the composition of their music (a trend we're beginning to see in our rookie groups,) and it is apparent that they possess the talent and passion that most groups do not have. Their strengths lie in their ability to adapt to the ever-changing music industry — allowing them to endure the storm of time as others fell.
Topping charts and breaking records, Big Bang has made history with nearly every single come-back. Let's go back in time and witness once again the unfolding of this legendary group.
2.
Big Bang - La La La (2006)
I was formally introduced through the group through "La La La." I remember when someone asked me, "have you heard of Big Bang?" I thought to myself the event that kicked off the universe? Essentially, this kicked off my journey into K-pop.
3.
Big Bang - Lies (2007)
This song contains one of the most memorable choruses of all time, "I'm so sorry but i love you... It was all lies."
4.
Big Bang - Haru Haru (2008)
Looking back now, I laugh when watching the MV but it was quite emotional when it was first released.
5.
Big Bang - Koe Wo Kikasete (2009)
After they entered the Japanese market, their music matured, which caters more to the Japanese audience.
6.
Big Bang - Tell Me Goodbye (2010)
An extension of their maturity.
7.
Big Bang - Tonight (2011)
This is around the time, Big Bang started getting more international recognition. Bigger budgets for music videos and this was filmed in Las Vegas.
8.
Big Bang - Fantastic Baby (2012)
Wow, Fantastic Baby. Is there anything else to be said?
9.
Big Bang - Bang Bang Bang (2015)
The Kings returned this year after a lengthy hiatus and they came back with a bang. Their music continues to evolve and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us next.
