After headlines about Super Junior Donghae's enlistment hit the news, SM Entertainment has come forward to clarify and reveal more information about his mandatory military service in October.
Media reported that Donghae would be enlisting as a regular active-duty soldier rather than a conscripted policeman as previously announced. However, SM Entertainment has stated, "It's not true that he's given up on being a conscripted policeman... He'll be enlisting before the end of the year."
The agency also added that he did indeed pass the exam to be a conscripted policeman and that his official start date has not been delivered.
