Just as people predicted, once they found out Taeyeon had started a legal process against the haters leaving malicious comments online, the netizens who had previously thrown harsh words at the Girls' Generation member have returned this time with excuses like "It wasn't me."
The other day, Taeyeon announced that she was finally taking matters into her own hands regarding haters online. Following this, people who had previously left mean comments like "Rag," "B*tch," "Trash," and more returned with excuses.
Most wrote "My younger sibling did that" or "We were kidding," and screenshots of such posts have been uploaded onto an online community. You can see in the screenshot below that the upper half of the picture has comments from a few weeks ago attacking Taeyeon with comments like, "Your mother really did not teach her daughter well at all; don't make your mother get hated on for no reason," while the lower half has the more recent, apologetic ones like, "Unnie~~ your fans say they're going to report EXO-L's ??? but we had done that as jokes hu," and, "I did not do that, it was my younger sibling who's an anti fan ?? ... S/he got so angry that s/he must have done it through my phone ?? ... I'm so sorry ?? I will say something to my younger sibling ?? ... Hello? ... Sorry ?? ... Taeyeon unnie, I apologized in my writing.. I'm so sorry.. I'm a SONE. When I was in the bathroom, my younger sibling must have done this..."
Other netizens who saw these pictures on the online community responded with, "[That person] has no excuse so is using a younger sibling as an excuse," "Then you can report the younger sibling," "They call that an excuse?" and more.
