As reported previously, Baek Jae Hyun was accused of touching and sucking the private parts and chest of a man. He was said to be in an intoxicated state and the victim was asleep.
At the trial held on June 26, the prosecution asked the court to sentence Baek Jae Hyun to 6 months in jail and make it mandatory for him to attend a treatment program for sexual molesters.

Baek's lawyer said that the former comedian is admitting to everything he's been accused of, but also asked the court for leniency on the terms that he had been severely intoxicated to the point that he did not know what he was doing and that he has confessed and is deeply regretting his actions.
Baek also apologized to the victim, stating, "Although it happened when I was not in a conscious state, I'm so sorry to the victim. Although something like this will never happen again, I'm worried about the mental shock that the victim may have suffered because of this. I'm so sorry."
His sentencing will take place at the next court session on July 10.
