It has been confirmed that Song Hye Gyo and Song Joong Ki will be playing the lead roles in upcoming KBS drama 'Descendants of the Sun'! Talk about an A-list cast!

The drama is said to be a blockbuster melodrama about a love story between a young soldier and a doctor in a foreign land as they learn about the value of life.

'Descendants of the Sun' will be co-written by Kim Eun Sook, of 'Secret Garden' and 'Gentleman's Dignity', and Kim Won Suk of 'Queen's Classroom'.

The drama will also star actor Jin Goo and actress Kim Ji Won as the supporting leads.
