The writer first wrote an apology for the misunderstanding that he had caused in relation to Ji Sung and his fans, stating that what he previously wrote was not a personal attack against the actor. He said, "I really like the actor Ji Sung and his acting. What I wrote on Twitter was not meant to criticize him, but because it raised some misunderstandings, I apologize to him and his fans."
In addition, the writer also asked that the producers make a great drama. He said, "To Hyun Bin and Han Ji Min, along with the producers and SBS, I send my apologies as the original writer. Please make it into a great drama."

He continued , "The base of my work, the core narrative and overall idea is 'a man with multiple personalities who falls in love with a woman.' Recently, they say even using others' ideas is illegal. I'm talking about how they'd say, 'This isn't plagiarism,' and use the webtoon's theme, set-up, structure, and core idea, and ignore the webtoon."
In addition to defending his stance, the writer also went on to defend his fellow webtoon writers. The webtoon writer wrote,"If something like this continues to happen, then the spirit of the writers who are working hard will lessen, and honestly, even if something like this were to happen, realistically, we wouldn't even know what to do."
