'Gallup Korea' calculated 2,774 votes from males and females 13-59 years of age from all of Korea except those in Jeju Island in a survey during the months of October and November. The participants were asked to choose their top three favorite artists among those who promoted this year. Although IU was the general winner among all of the age groups, EXO was #1 among those in their teens, IU was #1 among those in their 20s-30s, and Lee Sun Hee was #1 among those in their 40s-50s.
For a ranking of the top songs of the year, IU's remake of "Meaning of You" was voted #1 (7.7%), Soyu and JungGiGo's "Some" was #2 (4.6%), Lee Sun Hee's "Meet Him Among Them" was #3 (4.5%), Seo Taiji's "Sogyeokdong" was #4 (4.5%), and Ailee's "Don't Touch Me" was #5 (4.3%).
