Recently, speculations arose about whether A.KOR's latest diss target was British girl group, Little Mix. A.KOR had previously released a cover of Little Mix's "Word Up," but it was noted that they end the video with all five members doing an obscene British hand gesture (a peace sign with palm facing inward).
While some fans defended the group, saying that everything was probably blown out of proportion, others showed more conviction that A.KOR was indeed trying to diss Little Mix subtly through the cover.

Now, A.KOR's agency, Doo Republic, spoke up regarding this latest controversy. A rep exclusively told allkpop, "We did not know that the gesture had such a meaning, nor did we intend for the cover to appear as a diss to Little Mix. We apologize, but it is all a misunderstanding. Truthfully, A.KOR covered Little Mix out of respect."
