ILLIT (Yoona, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) achieved the highest-ranking K-pop group position on the '2024 Billboard Year-End Charts' with their debut song 'Magnetic'. The track ranked 61st on the Global 200 and 29th on the Global (Excl. U.S.) charts, marking the best performance by a K-pop group this year.
The group also entered the Global 200 Artists at 68th and the Global (Excl. U.S.) Artists at 48th, making it into four categories in total. Notably, ILLIT is the only group that debuted in 2024 to appear on the Global 200 Artists chart, highlighting their explosive global popularity.
Debuting in March 2024, ILLIT’s 'Magnetic' shook global charts, becoming the first K-pop debut song to enter both the 'Billboard Hot 100' and the 'UK Official Singles Chart'. The song also dominated annual charts on Apple Music, YouTube, and TikTok, securing the highest position among K-pop tracks.
Additionally, 'Magnetic' was recognized as one of the 'Best Songs of 2024' by NPR and NME and was named one of the 'Best K-Pop Songs of 2024' by Billboard and PopMatters, showcasing ILLIT’s exceptional influence and success.
