BLACKPINK’s Rosé took the world by storm with her recent debut album ‘rosie.’ The album’s chart debut broke records, becoming the biggest debut album in first-day streams among K-Pop female solo artists in Spotify's history, and even surpassing BLACKPINK’s own record of 170 million streams with ‘Born Pink.’
A week after the release of ‘rosie’, the album is continuing to top the charts. ‘APT,’ ‘toxic till the end,’ and ‘number one girl,’ are all currently in the top 100 of the global Spotify chart, Apple Music Global Chart, and UK Official Singles Chart.
Standout track ‘APT’ is also continuing to break records, as it is currently the best performing K-pop music video since ‘Gangnam Style,’ and the only music video to reach over 11 million likes on YouTube in 2024. ‘APT’ is currently tied with Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ for the highest number of weeks at #1 on Billboard Global of any K-pop song.
As an artist, Rosé is currently in her eighth week total on the Billboard Artist 100 chart. She has also now achieved the highest Spotify monthly listener count for a K-pop act in history, surpassing 62 million listeners in the last week.
