Actor Choi Jin Hyuk is up for the lead in MBC's upcoming drama, 'Pride and Prejudice,' which could be his last production before serving mandatory military service!

On September 16, his agency, Red Brick House, stated, "Choi Jin Hyuk is positively reviewing his appearance in 'Pride and Prejudice.'  He is in the final stage of mediation right now regarding his appearance.  He is not confirmed."

If he does accept the part, he will be playing a head inspector at the Incheon Prosecution Office.  In addition, as he is planning to become an active duty soldier in the army for his mandatory two years of service, he will likely enter after the completion of this drama sometime near the end of this year or early next year.

'Pride and Prejudice' will start airing in October.
