Lee Seung Woo of FC Barcelona particularly amazed in the game between South Korea and Japan. He scored two goals and he showed off his brilliance when he dribbled the ball nearly the full length of the pitch and scored against six defenders.
He has been nicknamed 'Little Messi' for this moment, deemed the second Lionel Messi, the Argentine forward considered by many to be the greatest soccer player in the world. He also impressed with four assists during a semi-final game against the Syrian team, crushing them with a final score of 7-1. Check out them victory dance moves:
Lee Seung Woo is a soccer prodigy and he knows it, and is creating much hype among Korea for his potential. When asked about his thoughts on his current success, Lee Seung Woo states in the clip above, "My biggest concern is winning [the games], and later if I do even better, I would like to receive an award [one day]." Towards the end of the clip, he adds that running with the Korean flag during the World Cup is his dream.
South Korea will be facing North Korea in the finals. Fans anticipate to see whether Lee Seung Woo will be able to carry his team all the way to victory.
