Singer John Park, who is preparing for his comeback in September, appeared on the August 22 edition of JTBC's 'Witch Hunt' and talked about the words, "I love you."
He said, "When you date overseas, it is extremely hard to say, 'I love you.' 'I love you' infuses deep emotions," and explained it was a bit different in Korea. He then revealed that there was once a girl with whom he had something going on. However, they were not dating officially when she told him that she loved him.
He said, "I was so taken aback that I cut off all contact with her." He also revealed that in a relationship, he was the type to be dominant during both the day and the night.
As for his ideal type, he revealed he liked neat women with a small body type. Shin Dong Yup asked, "Then it's okay if everything is small?" John Park said, "I like it if her head is small. I think the proportions are more important."

John Park also revealed that he was once asked out by a gay man. He said, "This happened in Korea before I appeared on TV. In the subway, some man suddenly approached me and asked me if I wanted to have a cup of tea. I thought he was a salesman, so just passed by, but he said, 'By any chance, you do have no interest in me? I really have interest in you,' as if I were gay for sure. In that subway, there was a lot of men wearing pink clothes and skinny jeans, but I was wearing very easygoing clothes."
Hong Suk Chun, an openly gay entertainer, stated, "That's the charm. To tell the truth, John Park is a style that would be immensely popular with gay men," so that John Park was taken aback.
