The 30 sec. teaser got us ready for the warfare at sea to come with the pirate Son Ye Jin and bandit Kim Nam Gil going head-to-head in an explosive battle on a ship to capture the great seal.

'The Pirates', directed by Lee Suk Hoon, has already been dubbed as the Korean version of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and approximately 10 billion Won (~8.9 million USD) has been invested into the film. The upcoming movie portrays the story of a group of pirates on the hunt during the Joseon Dynasty for a whale that swallowed a valuable treasure.

Kim Nam Gil, Son Ye Jin, f(x)'s Sulli, Lee Kyung Young, Kim Tae Woo, Yoo Hae Jin, Oh Dal Soo, Ahn Nae Sang, Park Chul Min, and Jo Dahl Hwan have so far been cast for the film.

'The Pirates' will premiere this summer!
