He said, "I was preparing to film for the kiss scene when Producer Shin Won Ho came close to me from behind and said something in my ear. He said quietly so that Dohee would not hear, 'I will kill you if you use tongue,'" and then the actor laughed.
Kim Sung Kyun continued, "But I had no intention of using my tongue, anyway . . . I did not dare think of something like that because Dohee was so young and I did not want her to get hurt.
Because it was a scene with a simple peck, it was not an awkward situation for us. We were most concerned about the timing because we had to match the sunrise for this scene; hence, it was not the time for being nervous, hesitating, or sharing feelings."
Lastly, he said, "What I remember best from that day was seasickness . . . Dohee also had a really hard time with seasickness, which was likewise no joke for the staff members. Thankfully, the sunrise came out very nicely so I felt really great despite the pains."
