Being fashion forward also requires that we live in style! This drama has some beautifully decorated spaces and it would be a waste to not pay more attention to them! These are the five rooms that I found most interesting.
I absolutely would want to have a room exactly like this if I have the
luxury of owning a house or apartment with plenty of space. All the
better if it comes with Uhm Tae Woong and Kim Sung Soo in it. *clears
throat* I do not typically like wooden finishings except for hardwood
flooring but this room is an exception. The slab of oddly but naturally
shaped timber table is the main feature of this room. Orange cushions
adds a touch of brightness and brings out the colour of the wood. The
designer is not afraid to feature this table in a room with hardwood
flooring. Wood does not stop there because you see the wooden flooring
extending upwards to what looks like some storage space disguised in the
shape of a tree. This room looks like a man cave equipped with all the
big boy toys like stereo, huge screen television and gaming systems. I
think it can also be female-friendly if a few soft touches are added to
the room.
This dining room just screams bachelor pad. The colour palette of cool dark grey paired with light wood against white walls displays masculinity. What I love about this dining room is that it is made for entertaining. It can seat quite a lot of people with the current chairs in use. If you were to replace the chairs with long benches, you might be able to seat the entire soccer team! The large drawers are practical and storage is abundant. I do feel that the basket storage should be replaced with cleverly designed cabinets and drawers.
This neutral coloured living room does not look like much at a first glance, but if you take a notice at the different patterns that are in the room you will be surprised how all these elements in the room does not make the room look busy. The parquet floor, walls and grey marble-like feature wall are all in different patterns! There are flower motifs and more patterns on the cushions, vases and standing lamp. Notice also how there are different textures in the room: sleek shiny surfaces of the coffee table and television rack, fluffy rug and soft lines of the drapes.
This is a teenage girl's bedroom that is still young and fresh but not too sugary sweet. The walls are painted a mint green and other accent pieces in the room are in orange. A painting is cleverly displayed on an easel in one corner of the room.
This space is rather interesting, a bit puzzling and can be a representation of the split personality of the person living in this space. Yup, in that bottom photo that's the crazy mother-in-law with a split personality trying to physically attack her daughter-in-law. There is pinks, lime greens, baby blue, purples, wood and gold in this space.
Did you spot any other rooms that you like in this drama?
