Jung Woo�skyrocketed to fame through 'Reply 1994' and fans got their once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the actor during his guerrilla date!

On the January 18th broadcast of 'Entertainment Relay', Jung Woo was surrounded by fan girls in Seoul where he replied to their wishes with back hugs and more.

During the interview, Jung Woo shared on his newfound popularity,�"I'm older than my other hoobaes, I felt sorry as if I was stealing their spot. I was also on the verge of tears then." When asked about his 'Reply 1994' nickname 'Trash', Jung Woo shared, "It was fun and people showed a lot of interest. I think I received more love because of that."

The reporter also asked, "I think your real name, Kim Jung Kook, also suits you so why did you change your stage name?"�Jung Woo explained, "Upon my mother's suggestion, Kim Jung Kook seemed too stiff. Among the various names, Jung Woo sounded softer and if I was called by that name, she suggested that I might become more successful. So I changed my name a few years ago."

During the OX (yes / no) game, when asked if his current popularity is burdensome, Jung Woo raised an 'O' as he shared, "Now that I am suddenly receiving a lot of love, I don't know really how to properly communicate. For example, I can't communicate well with the camera in front of me."

He shared, "Thank you so much for the overwhelming love and I will return to you with a good production."
