Continuing from last week's 'The Rival' special on 'Immortal Song 2', Baek Ji Young and Kim Ba Da went head to head on the January 11th show.
Baek Ji Young, who was one of the first singers to appear on the series but later pulled out, performed a cover of '80s singer Park Hye Sung's "City Clown" for her first official stage. Producers commented, "Though it was her first performance, Baek Ji Young made it obvious why she was the queen of ballad." Rocker singer Kim Ba Da also sang Kim Seung Jo's "Suzanne" and "Hello Drawn on a Window".
In the end, the audience preferred Baek Ji Young's ballad to Kim Ba Da's rock. As for the final winners, Jung Dong Ha, who has the record of most points, defeated ALi, who has the most trophies, to take the final win of part 2 of 'The Rival' special.
