JYP Entertainment has been reported to be getting ready to introduce some fresh faces for a while now, and they're adding to the excitement for the new year approaching with latest statements, confirming that their plans are still on schedule and offering a bit more details as well.

Music insiders revealed to Star News that a six-member girl group will follow in the footsteps of the Wonder Girls and miss A as a dance group and are busy recording and practicing for their upcoming debut set for the first half of 2014.
One insider stated, "[JYPE] is currently preparing for a six-member girl dance group to debut next year... They are known for having both top visuals and talent." Another added, "[JYPE] plans to debut two male idol groups and one girl group... Compared to the groups that have debuted so far under JYP, these groups will make its way from a more organized training system."
Regarding the report, a JYP Entertainment rep commented to Sports Seoul, "It's true that we're preparing a girl group of 6 members of varying charms. However, we haven't decided on the exact time for their debut."
The rep also mentioned, "We are planning to launch 2 male idol groups and 1 girl group early next year." When asked about the already mentioned male group, 5Live, the rep commented,"The time period for the already revealed 5Live is also not yet confirmed as of now."
It's said the three teams looking forward to their debut coming up next year are currently practicing diligently to prepare.
Although we aren't being treated to the specific details and exact time periods, it seems certain that the agency has a busy 2014 in store!
