Producer Kim Yoo Gon spoke up for the first time on the upcoming season two of variety program 'Dad, Where Are You Going?' with rumors rising about which cast members will be staying and leaving.
As mentioned before Lee Jong Hyuk and his son Junsu are definitely leaving the show after season 1, while Sung Dong Il was revealed to be leaning towards leaving as well.
Earlier today, it was also rumored that the entire cast is actually leaving, making viewers of the show anxious about the thought of parting with all the children and the dads.
However, the show as well as the PD have remarked that they're doing everything they can to continue the legacy of season 1 by negotiating diligently with the current cast members, asking them to stay on or perhaps bring on their younger children on the show.
The PD revealed to Star News, "Truthfully, we still have no confirmed cast members . . . There are three members of the 'Dad, Where Are You Going?' season one cast who are in talks of remaining: Yoon Min Soo, Kim Sung Joo, and Sung Dong Il... Yoon Min Soo and Yoon Hoo; Kim Sung Joo and Kim Min Yool; and Sung Dong Il and his daughter Sung Bin are discussing being on the show... It seems that Yoon Hoo, who is the representative character in 'Dad, Where Are You Going?' with his pure and considerate personality, may be able to appear as the eldest brother in the second season."

However, in relation to whether Song Jong Kook would appear on the show, the producer stated, "He will not be able to appear on season two because Song Jong Kook decided it would be too difficult for him as he will be the soccer commentator for the 2014 World Cup."
With two confirmed to be leaving, curiosity is continuing to rise about who will make the final decision to stay and who will be added for the second season of this award winning show.
