It has been revealed that BTS' SUGA will not be able to attend the end-of-the-year music festivals this year after suffering from a case of inflammation in the area of his body where he recently received an appendectomy.
Big Hit Entertainment shared the unfortunate news on the 28th, "SUGA is the most regretful that he will not be able to attend his first end-of-the-year awards ceremony following his debut. The rest of the members will perform on stage as normal. He will try to recover as soon as possible so that he may show a better image next year."
According to his agency, SUGA suffered a stomachache while carrying out his overseas schedule in Japan on the 8th and immediately returned to Korea where he was diagnosed with appendicitis. He received surgery the day after at the Severance Hospital in Sinchondong, Seoul. Although he was released from the hospital on the 17th, he suffered another case of inflammation on the part of his body where he received surgery and was re-admitted into the hospital to receive treatment on the 26th.
Meanwhile, BTS will perform without SUGA at the '2013 SBS Gayo Daejun' on the 29th and the '2013 MBC Gayo Daejaejun' on the 31st.
