The hit drama 'Reply 1997' is coming back for a second season, and this time, it's bringing you the top stars of 1994, including Seo Taiji and Boys who was undoubtedly one of the most influential groups during the time.

Seo Taiji Company revealed that the drama did indeed send out a love call to the legendary singer, stating, "tvN's representatives mentioned that material related to Seo Taiji will be featured in the drama. First off, they don't need our permission for the Seo Taiji material to be aired in the drama. The issue with using Seo Taiji's music in the drama is also not a problem because he finished his copyright contract with CJ E&M. We also received a request for him to feature in the drama's OST, and we're currently reviewing the offer."

Seo taiji dropped himself from the Korea Music Copyright Association in 2003, so his music and affiliated content are all managed under his own agency, Seo Taiji Company.

'Reply 1997' will also bring back PD Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung from season one. The second season's storyline will take place in the year 1994 when Seo Taiji and Boys were at the prime of their career.
