The staff of drama 'Nice Guy' recently surprised actor Song Joong Ki with a surprise party on the day of his 28th birthday.

On the 22nd, photographs of the actor celebrating his birthday with his cast mates and staff members was revealed. In the photos, Song Joong Ki could be seen admiring his personalized cake on which cookie versions of actors Song Joong Ki, Moon Chae Won, Park Si Yeon, Lee Gwang Soo, and others had been placed. The one-of-a-kind cake is said to have been a production of the staff and fellow cast mates for the actor's birthday on the 19th.

During the birthday celebration, Song Joong Ki was sung the 'Happy Birthday' song, while staff and cast alike found fun in looking for each of the 'Nice Guy' actors' cookie characters. Everyone also gathered to take commemorative photos to remember the delightful day by.

It is said that the atmosphere of the set of 'Nice Guy' is always bright and full of laughter, even on a normal day of filming.

Meanwhile, 'Nice Guy' recently took the number one spot in viewer ratings for its time slot, beating out 'Arang and the Magistrate'. Many are tuning in to see how the tension-filled relationships of the three main characters played by Song Joong Ki, Moon Chae Won, and Park Si Yeon, will play out.
