FT Island member Seunghyun will stand on his first Japanese musical stage on the 19th as Daniel, the main character of the musical 'Jack the Ripper'. After his first performance at the Tokyo Aoyama Theater, he will also perform on October 1st and the 2nd.

At just the age of 19, Seunghyun was the youngest Daniel to be cast in 'Jack the Ripper'. He proved his potential as a musical actor by earning much praise for his superb performance in singing, perfect dialogue delivery, and expressions for his first performances in Korea during August 8th-23rd at the Korea Haeorum Theater.

Through FNC Entertainment, Seunghyun expressed, "I've always met fans on stage as an FT Island member, so I'm nervous but excited to meet Japanese fans as a musical actor. I'm going to do my best to show everyone a good performance."

Seunghyun is FT Island's rapper, vocalist and guitarist. Even with preparations for FT Island's 4th Korean album, 'Five Treasure Box', Seunghyun pieced time together to practice up to 12 hours per day for his musical.

'Jack the Ripper' is a musical based on an actual unsolved murder mystery. It opened in 2009 and have gone through 3 encore performances and continues to be very popular. It has recorded 1st for foreign ticket purchases, and is Korea's successful representative musical.
