Hip hop group M.I.B has teamed up with social network culture review service, PICKNIC.
'PICKNIC' is a Korean Facebook application that suggests users new content, after reviewing and analyzing the things that are shared with friends. 'PICKNIC' is holding a special event in order to commemorate the release of their new app, and M.I.B is stepping up to be the first to participate.
Those who visit PICKNIC's page starting August 1st until September 28th, and write a review after listening to M.I.B's 'Illusion' album, including tracks "Celebrate" and "Only Hard For Me", can enter for a chance to win prizes such as a signed M.I.B CD, fashion headphones YELLOU COLORONIC, and more.
"Through this service, we will be able to effectively promote M.I.B to the Facebook users in their 20s and 30s, as there is a lot of cultural content that is being consumed," PICKNIC explained. "We will be using this event with M.I.B as a stepping stone to become a more complex space for social culture."
In related news, M.I.B will be wrapping up promotions for "Only Hard For Me" with a final performance on SBS' Inkigayo August 5th.
