Back in June, U-KISS wrapped up their activities in Korea and began to focus on their Japanese promotions. It seems that their efforts have paid off as they have sold out 80,000 seats for their Japan tour!
After having earned a high rank on the Oricon charts with their album 'A Shared Dream' back in March, this marks the group's most recent accomplishment in Japan. Although U-KISS still trails behind other internationally successful idols such as TVXQ, it looks as if they are receiving attention as Hallyu stars on their own, as the anticipation for U-KISS's future activities is increasing.
Throughout the month of July, U-KISS will be performing a total of 16 concerts in 9 cities, which will include Osaka, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Tokyo. On the 28th and 29th, they will be concluding their tour at Tokyo's NHK Hall.
In other news, on the 25th, U-KISS's third Japanese single, "Dear My Friend", became available for sale and placed 5th on the Oricon Daily Chart.
As for the group's future activities, on September 5th, U-KISS will give a performance in the highly esteemed Nippon Budokan before returning to Korea in the middle of the month.
