In addition to the four "gentlemen", Jang Dong Gun, Kim Su Ro, Kim Min Jong, and Lee Jong Hyuk, who all began filming for the upcoming SBS drama 'Gentlemen's Class', female lead Kim Ha Neul has also completed her first filming.
Making her comeback to the small screen after a two-year break, Kim Ha Neul will be portraying the character of Seo Yi Soo, a high school Ethics teacher with a bright and cheerful yet assertive personality.
On April 8th, the actress arrived on set with her long, vibrant hair pulled back into a tidy ponytail. At first, she appeared to be somewhat nervous, but as soon as Shin Woo Chul PD shouted, "Action," she immersed herself in her role, showing her natural acting skills. Kim Ha Neul received praise for playing the role of Seo Yi Soo perfectly with the combination of her tough facial expression and her bright, clear pronunciation.
The actress was never seen without her script on set, which was heavily marked with post-it notes. She displayed her diligence and enthusiasm by reading her script whenever she got a chance in between her filming.
Production company Hwa and Dam Pictures stated, "From her first shoot, Kim Ha Neul portrayed her upright and pleasant character of Seo Yi Soo so perfectly that we are very satisfied. More than any other time, Kim Ha Neul's motivation and affection towards her character is tremendous. Please anticipate Kim Ha Neul transformation into a school teacher."
'Gentlemen's Class' is a romantic-comedy drama, about love and breakups as well as success and failure, revolving around four passionate men. The first episode is set to air on May 26th.
