Comedian Lee Soo Geun shed some emotional tears after opening up about his mother.

On a recent episode �of KBS2's 'Win Win', Lee Soo Geun discussed his childhood without his mother.

He began, "When I was young, my mother suddenly became ill. The hospital could not find what was wrong with her, but in the end, it turned out to be an illness that signified her fate to become a shaman" (in various Asian cultures, there are reports of individuals who become sick for no apparent reason and are unable to find a medical explanation nor a cure, and the only way to get rid of the illness is to accept their fate to become a shaman).

"She was forced to become a shaman, and left our family. I was embarrassed that she was a shaman and I would report her occupation as 'business woman' on school documents," he continued.

"And more than her being a shaman, I was more embarrassed to open my lunch box that my father packed for me. I didn't eat it at school; my brother and I ate it after school was over," he said with tears in his eyes.

He revealed that there was a time he missed his mother so much, he traveled over 9 hours to see her when he was in elementary school.
