SBS 'Running Man' is giving KBS2's '1 Night 2 Days' a run for their money. The December 18th episode of 'Running Man' earned an impressive 19.2% of viewer's ratings nationwide (20.8% in Seoul alone), and continues to cement itself as the 2nd most popular Sunday program after '1N2D' who maintained their position at the top with 26.3% in ratings. PD Jo Hyo Jin remarked on the show finally breaking the 20% barrier for Seoul ratings, "We have changed a few things, but the format is the same as it always has been. I think at this point, the viewers have become accustomed to (the cast), and enjoy the format of 'Running Man'." Since the departure of Song Joong Ki, the cast has remained the same since as PD Jo confidently expressed, "Our cast members still have a lot to show the viewers and they have shown an extraordinary amount of potential and ability to perform regardless of whatever tasks/missions we give them. We also have lots of ideas that we have yet to put into practice as yet. Our "Superpower" special which will be shown next week will showcase the members' potential once again." For this past episode, the team traveled to Hong Kong with their featured guests, actress Lee Min Jung and CNBLUE leader Jung Yong Hwa. Like always, the cast members frantically ran around for clues, not forgetting for a moment that no one can be trusted. PD Jo concluded, "We express our thanks to viewers who have continued to support and love our program. We hope that you can continue to show your support for us in the future, thank you!"
